This furnished, one story, cozy apartment is perfect for those looking for a private long term stay just minutes away from Redstone Arsenal. Newly renovated, there is a full kitchen with new cabinets, granite countertops, new furniture (to include a comfortable queen bed) and flooring, and new paint throughout.

Good to know

This is one unit of a seven unit 1-story apartment complex. Each unit has one bedroom and one bathroom, two clothing closets, and one closet for linens. The bathroom has both a shower and a tub. There is a front door and back door for entry. There is a full kitchen in each unit, with a refrigerator, stove and microwave in each unit (no dishwasher). Also, not shown is a fully fenced in backyard.

Other Details to Note

Although it is listed elsewhere, there is no washer and dryer in unit or on the premises. Guests are responsible for laundry off site. We have regular pest control, but during the summer months, there may be more pest activity due to heat and moisture. If you encounter any issues, we will send someone ASAP.

House rules

1. No parties or events. If guests are found to have had a party without host permission which results in extra cleaning, guests will be responsible for extra cleaning charges. 2. No unapproved overnight visitors without previous approval from host. 3. No smoking (includes vaping) in the house. No illegal drugs or illegal activities are allowed on the premises. If we detect the smell of cigarette or marijuana smoke during or after checkout, you will be charged a minimum $250 cleaning fee. If you choose to smoke outside, please do not leave cigarette butts on the ground. 4. Please let the host know immediately if anything is in need of repair (leaks, pests, etc.) so that we can get it rectified during your stay. 5. Please let the host know if you’ve broken or damaged anything during your stay, so that we may arrange for its replacement or repair. 6. No pets (unless previously authorized). All guests will pay a $75 fee per pet. If guests are found to have brought a pet without host permission, guests will be charged retroactively. Also, please pick up after your pets if you allow them to relieve themselves in the front or back yard. 7. Return all keys (if applicable). Guests will be charged a $50 replacement fee for each lost key. 8. Please do not rearrange furniture. 9. Please do not park on the grass. 10. Please be mindful of the thermostat. In the summer, we’d appreciate it if you kept the thermostat no lower than 69 degrees, and in the winter, no warmer that 74 degrees (for efficiency's sake). 11. This up and coming neighborhood is located near several desirable locations. Located three miles or less from Redstone Arsenal's Gate 8, Stovehouse (a brand new outdoor music, restaurant and event space), Campus 805 ("Huntsville's premier local craft brewery center, entertainment and event venue"), and Whole Foods. There's a brand new neighborhood development being built just down the road (don't worry, it's far enough so you that you won't hear any construction or have to deal with dirty tires).

Tim & Erica went out of their way to provide me extra amenities considering I've been staying with them on and off for 6+ months for whenever I come in town for work. All of their units are always clean and these units are great especially if you have a dog considering it had a small fenced in backyard. The only other amenity I would like to see after they so kindly added the others I requested is maybe small backyard patio furniture and a small grill, but that's only because I've been staying with them for long time now, but now that it's getting cold out, it wouldn't have the same appeal this time of year so I wouldn't ask that of them especially since I'll finish up this project before it gets warm out again, but other than that it's the perfect little apartment. Every restaurant you could possibly would want to eat at is within 10 minutes maybe 15 minutes top, since I'm only coming in town for work I haven't had time to see what there is to do nearby other than going for good food.
