This home is perfect for business travelers, student interns and those on a budget in search of modest, simple and clean accommodations. Centrally located in the Rocket City with easy access to Gate 9 of Redstone Arsenal, Cummings Research Park, I-565 and Bridge Street Town Center, the space is roughly 1000 sqft, and comes with one large bedroom, one bathroom, a living space and a kitchenette. It is the basement area of a larger home with upstairs tenants.

Guest have full access to the entire basement which has one large bedroom, one private bathroom, and a large living space with a couch that sits three, a table that sits two, laundry room, and a large flat screen television.

Pets are welcome, but a $75 pet fee (per pet) will be levied after the start of your stay. Please notify us if you will be bringing your furry friend(s) prior to your arrival. We have regular pest control, but during the summer months, there may be more pest activity due to heat and moisture. If you encounter any issues, we will send someone ASAP.

House Rules

1. No parties or events. If guests are found to have had a party without host permission which results in extra cleaning, guests will be responsible for extra cleaning charges. 2. No unapproved overnight visitors without previous approval from host. 3. No smoking (includes vaping) in the house. No illegal drugs or illegal activities are allowed on the premises. If we detect the smell of cigarette or marijuana smoke during or after checkout, you will be charged a minimum $250 cleaning fee. If you choose to smoke outside, please do not leave cigarette butts on the ground. 4. Please let the host know immediately if anything is in need of repair (leaks, pests, etc.) so that we can get it rectified during your stay. 5. Please let the host know if you’ve broken or damaged anything during your stay, so that we may arrange for its replacement or repair. 6. No pets (unless previously authorized). All guests will pay a $75 fee per pet. If guests are found to have brought a pet without host permission, guests will be charged retroactively. Also, please pick up after your pets if you allow them to relieve themselves in the front or back yard. 7. Return all keys (if applicable). Guests will be charged a $50 replacement fee for each lost key. 8. Please do not rearrange furniture. 9. Please do not park on the grass. 10. Please be mindful of the thermostat. In the summer, we’d appreciate it if you kept the thermostat no lower than 69 degrees, and in the winter, no warmer that 74 degrees (for efficiency's sake). 11. Neighborhood

Skyline Acres is a hilly, quite subdivision with great views. The home is located on the highest street in the neighborhood, which make the views a plus depending on the season. The neighborhood is centrally located between Madison and Huntsville, AL, and you will often see residents jogging or walking the hilly streets with their dogs, families, etc. There is no sidewalk in the area, but those looking for a Greenway are in luck! Indian Creek Greenway is less than a mile away.

We were really happy with our stay in the basement apartment. It was so much larger than we anticipated. The hosts thought of everything you would need including and not limited to bathroom, kitchen, and laundry supplies. The bed was very comfortable and the linens were so soft. The WiFi worked well and the TVs were equipped with Netflix, prime tv and more. The washer and dryer were an added bonus. I was also impressed with the huge fenced in back yard and the ability to park outside the door. We would definitely come stay again!
